Rental Terms & Conditions
1. ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS REQUIRED We cannot release the vehicle without seeing your original, physical driving license and passport. Digital copies or photocopies are not accepted. The rental will be DECLINED without refund if these are not presented at handover. You must also carry your original license on you at all times while driving.
2. ACCIDENTS & DAMAGE (THE 112 RULE) In Bulgaria, insurance is only valid if you have an Official Police Report. If the car is damaged, scratched, or involved in an accident, you MUST call 112 immediately and wait for the police to issue a report (Protokol). Without this report, the insurance is void and you are 100% liable for all repair costs.
3. VEHICLE DOCUMENTS All original vehicle documents (Registration, Insurance, Inspection) are in the glove box. Do not remove these from the car unless requested by the police. A €250 fee applies if these documents or the car keys are lost.
4. POLICE & FINES Police are highly active with speed cameras and mobile traps. You are 100% responsible for all speeding and parking fines. An administration fee of €25 applies to each fine we process. Remember: Low-beam headlights must be ON at all times.
5. VEHICLE USE Usage is restricted to the Republic of Bulgaria. No extreme off-roading. The car must be returned in a clean state; a €50–€100 fee applies for excessive mud or interior stains. This is a Non-Smoking vehicle.
